The 2025 China International Lubrication Industry Conference was held in Jiading, Shanghai, from March 11 to 12. PanAn Testing was honored to participate in this key industry event. During the conference, PanAn Testing highlighted its commitment to "new quality productivity" and the national "dual-carbon" goals by presenting its advanced Oil Condition Monitoring (OCM) tester. At the conference, PanAn Testing invited Thomas Feischi, a senior oil monitoring expert from the Austrian firm Eralytics, to deliver an in-depth presentation on the "Xltra" design philosophy behind Eralytics' oil monitoring equipment. The concepts—"Xltra-simple," "Xltra-robust," and "Xltra-accurate"—reflect the brand’s focus on usability, durability, and precision. Eralytics' OCM product series stood out among competing solutions thanks to their compact form factor, exceptional reliability, and innovative design, earning strong interest from professionals across the lubrication and petrochemical sectors.

The ERASPEC OIL mid-infrared lubricating oil analyzer is fully compliant with ASTM E2412 and is capable of monitoring degradation byproducts such as oxidation, sulfation, and nitration, along with additive depletion and the presence of contaminants—similar to conventional infrared analyzers. Leveraging its built-in extensive database, the ERASPEC OIL also calculates key parameters including Total Acid Number (TAN), Total Base Number (TBN), and viscosity through advanced chemical analysis algorithms.
The Eravisc X is a compact, 2-in-1 portable testerThe Eravisc X is a compact, 2-in-1 portable tester designed for rapid and precise measurement of viscosity and density across a temperature range of 15°C to 100°C, requiring only 3 mL of sample. Density measurements comply with ASTM D4052 and ISO 12185, while viscosity testing meets the accuracy standards of ASTM D445 and ASTM D7042. The Eravisc X delivers viscosity results in just 60 seconds and density results in 15 seconds. Equipped with Eralytics’ patented FillProof™ technology, the instrument accurately detects microbubbles to ensure reliable density readings. Its ultra-fast heating and cooling system enables rapid temperature adjustments, allowing for a complete viscosity index analysis in just 10 minutes—making it an exceptionally efficient and user-friendly tool for field and laboratory applications.
The ERAFLASH Automatic Micro Closed-Cup Flash Point TesterThe ERAFLASH is an advanced Automatic Micro Closed-Cup Flash Point Tester based on Continuous Closed Cup Flash Point (CCCFP) technology. Requiring only 1–2 mL of sample, it significantly reduces smoke emissions compared to traditional flash point methods, offering an environmentally friendly and operator-safe solution. With a test time of just 10 minutes, ERAFLASH complies with ASTM D6450, ASTM D7094, and SH/T 0768, and can correlate results to ASTM D93, GB/T 261, ASTM D56, and ASTM D3828. The system features no open flame, eliminating fire hazards, and offers a wide temperature range of 0–200°C (extendable to –25°C to 420°C). Capable of analyzing up to 12 samples per hour, ERAFLASH delivers high throughput, precision, and safety—ideal for both laboratory and field environments.
At the exhibition booth, PanAn Testing also featured the CANNON UltraVIS, a 192-position fully automatic rapid kinematic viscosity tester. This advanced instrument eliminates the need for cleaning solvents or constant-temperature bath fluids, significantly reducing operating costs and environmental impact. With a fast testing cycle of just 3 minutes, the UltraVIS enhances laboratory efficiency while supporting sustainable practices—making it an ideal solution for eco-conscious, high-throughput laboratories.
