Today, it has been 25 years since the US-based CANNON instruments company has officially entered the Chinese market. Twenty-five years ago, the founder of PanAn Testing reached a cooperation with CANNON instrument company to act as the sole agent for all operations including the sale of instruments from Cannon Instrument Company in China. CANNON was established in 1938 as the world’s first recognized viscosity measurement brand. It has a laboratory that upholds and sets the US National Viscosity Standard, A2AL (American Association for Laboratory Accreditation) as an authorized viscosity calibration laboratory, and NIST, for authorized viscosity reference fluid calibration and testing experiments including ASTM Global CIC (Cannon Instrument Company) viscosity proficiency testing laboratory.

The CANNON instrument has been widely praised after entering the Chinese market. The instrument has been widely selected and preferred by end users for its fully automatic and uninterrupted operation, for its fast turnaround time and it full 24 hours operation annually. It has been trusted by customers for its accurate and advanced measurement technology. In the past 25 years, CANNON instrument has provided a large number of reliable services for China's petrochemical laboratories and has been consistent in providing high quality products and services.

In the past 25 years, Cannon instruments have also changed and improved in its design as its products have become more intelligent and convenient. The kinematic viscosity product line, from CAV3 to CAV2100 to today's CAV4.2, CAV4.1, is smaller and more powerful. In addition, Cannon Instruments has expanded more product lines, such as the new member Ravenfield High Temperature and High Shear Tester, Low Temperature Brinell Gel Index Tester, and the upcoming Asphalt DSR.

PanAn Testing is honored to grow together with Cannon in the past 25 years, and is chosen and trusted by customers. In the future, PanAn Testing and Cannon Instruments will continue to contribute to the development of petrochemical product testing.
